dee_gee: I'm thinking of getting this lens and the reviews look good, but seeing as most of you here would have one I'm just wondering what your views are on using it? You might also consider the EF 40mm f/2.8 which will be more or less equivalent to a native 30 mm f/2. There are some Canon EF mount lenses that play very well when electronically adapted - this includes the 40/2.8 Pancake, the 50/1.8 STM and the 100/2.8L Macro. The 24mm F2.8 was my favourite lens for canon APSC. It’s beautifully sharp wide open and gives a great perspective for environmental portraits. I eventually sold my 18-55 and 40mm F2.8 and just used the 24mm F2.8 and 50mm F1.8 for everything.
