Blizzard died a long time ago, this game was just Activision closing the casket Blizzard was still pretty alive through SC2s last expansion and the Ghost episodes. And various forms of WoW expansions. Sadly BioWare, Bethesda, arguably Obsidian, THQ, and a few other studios have also died.

I played Warcraft 3 some years ago and liked it a lot. Was looking forward to the Reforged version, but turned out to be a mess. Some months later, I am asking if the devs actually addressed the concerns and errors the game had at launch, and if it is recommended to get it now or it is still bad.
Nice job guys! Low fps as fu**. Shame on Blizzard. A trillion dollar stock market player company that has reached success by games like warcraft 3 is now giving a sh** to their community which has made them healthy and big. Amazing job that a game that was running nicely is now having such massive problems after 20 years. Just a joke…
After all, Warcraft 3 Reforged was the first game that people preordered and then turned out to be really shitty. -1. AnonTwo • 6 mo. ago. What he means is that even people who didn't pre-order (just owned the original warcraft III) were updated to a reforged client, and moved from b.net 1.0 to b.net 2.0.
This is the most common complaint about Warcraft 3: Reforged: That Blizzard sold players on the expectation of a game that doesn't exist. And it's not just Reforged players who are mad.
you dont seem to understand that the original TFT client can still launch older patches. Yes, it can. But Reforged cannot. I have made a replay with a previous Reforged beta patch, and now, when trying to play it - it says I cannot play it because it was made by an earlier version.
This has worked fine in the past, and both classic and reforged were able to detect the map files just fine. So, the solution is to put your maps into: "Users\YourUsername\Documents\Warcraft III\Maps". Will update this thread for people who might have a similar issue starting custom maps.
People never entirely stopped playing the original Warcraft III, so when you think about it, a remastered version feels long overdue. In some respects, Warcraft III: Reforged does a serviceable job of fulfilling that need. In others, it's a bit - dare I say - underforged. In further respects still, some people might wish it had never happened.
And to be honest, Warcraft III Patch 1.31 has most of the problems that I just cited in Reforged already added to it. So there was that patch that was basically Reforged, but it still looked like the old 2002 Reign of Chaos in the menus and in the way the modding technologies worked. And I did not hear nearly as many people complain about that
Hey, I’ve been playing Warcraft 3 Reforged back and forth since the release of the Beta, but never played it that much due to the bad performance while playing with Reforged graphics, I decided to give it time in hope proper optimization will take place in the future. Now 2 years later I returned hoping I can finally enjoy the game after I got a decent Laptop to play with (I5 10th gen, Rtx
This game has negative value. People who buy it will hate Blizzard and will be less likely to buy their future games. It’s basically negative advertising. Blizzard probably wants to just get rid of it completely, but that would cause a bigger uproar. So they are pricing it to NOT sell more copies.Warcraft 3 Reforged is 2 Years old today, what's changed?0:00 ol' Bobby Kotick0:52 Introduction1:18 Positives1:50 Negatives3:42 Blizzard Problems4:29 Reforge .
