On the fuel pump there is an electronic circut board that has brass bars on it that correspond with the bars on the fuel guage. The float rubs up and down on these bars indicating the fuel level. After some time the float drags some brass from one bar to the next leaving a connection between the bars, like a trail.

Start machine and while running check voltage to see if the machine is charging. Should be around 14v to 14.5v. Load testing will also give you a good idea of the condition of your battery. Can-Am 500, 650, 800, and Renegade are equipped with an on board diagnostic center. Meaning, you can pull codes from your machine. Directions: Turn your key to have the lights on. Set the multifunction gauge to engine hours. Press and hold the selector button while QUICKLY toggling the HI-LO beam 3 times. Continue holding the selector button.

service action: Check throttle cable adjustment. Check idle stop for wear. Ensure throttle plate is against throttle stop. Perform TPS Sensor Initialization in BUDS with throttle completely off. Sounds like the throttle cable need adjustment to give it more slack. Adjustment is up by the throttle lever.

Also adding their Maverick style heads and trail cams and will be tuning the bike on a Dyno with the Dynojet PCV. Just waiting on a few other gaskets/o-rings to arrive so I can begin tearing down the cylinders.
